Many Educational Bills Affecting Counselors on the Table

HB 4410 - Includes the Changes to Math Curriculum

HB 4511 – This bill is sponsored by Doug Geiss, a new representative. This is the bill that specifies who can ask for a personalized curriculum.

SB 698 – This is the current Kuipers bill that proposes a change to the math requirement

SB 636, SB 637, SB 638, SB 639 – This bill would allow for certificated teachers, parents of children, local units of government, universities, governmental agencies, and others to apply to a sponsoring body for a performance contract to operate a neighborhood public school.
